Are you mad for cricket? We are! MILO has been a major part of the Australian Cricket landscape since we began sponsoring cricket in 1992. Nestlé’s sponsorship includes Cricket Australia’s Junior Development Programs: MILO in2CRICKET, which introduces more than half a million children to the game every year, and MILO T20 Blast – the newest, all action, all fun game for children aged 8-12.

MILO in2CRICKET was launched in 1996 and is now recognised as Australian cricket’s premier Junior Development Program.

The MILO in2CRICKET Program offers children aged 5 to 8 years the opportunity to learn a full range of cricket skills – from batting and bowling through to throwing and catching. It’s also a great opportunity for young children to develop social skills, make new friends and most importantly – HAVE FUN!

All participants receive a structured 6-12 week program, which provides each participant with the opportunity to develop cricket skills, physical fitness, social skills, sportsmanship and an understanding of the game of cricket in a fun learning environment.

On top of that everyone receives an exciting Participant Pack exclusive to the program including a cricket bat, a ball, a T-shirt, a bucket hat, a drink bottle, MILO products and more!

MILO in2CRICKET Skills introduces cricket to children at primary school level. A fun, modified program of skills and games, it involves more than 300,000 children each year.

The program has been designed to be ‘user-friendly’ for teachers, and helps teach the basic skills of throwing, catching and hitting.

MILO T20 Blast is the newest program for kids aged 8-12 who want to progress to playing real games. Based on the popular T20 format as seen in the KFC T20 Big Bash League, MILO T20 Blast is an all action, all fun, game product for kids.

MILO T20 Blast was launched in November 2012 and saw girls and boys from all over the country take part in the game-based program over Summer. The sessions are great fun with high energy music, and all the fun that the KFC T20 Big Bash League is renowned for. Everyone at a MILO T20 Blast session has a turn batting, bowling and fielding.

MILO T20 BLAST School Cup is a fun, fast paced, modified, cricket format that captures the excitement associated with the KFC T20 Big Bash League. It is an enjoyable and safe one day cricket carnival for primary school aged children in Grades 3-6. MILO T20 Blast School Cups are easy to run for teachers and gives children the opportunity to play real games of T20.

milo summer of cricket

Summer is cricket season, and this year, the Aussie team will be playing their most fierce rivals, the English Cricket Team in a home Ashes Series.

There will be five Commonwealth Bank Test Matches, five Carlton Mid One Day Internationals and three KFC T20 Internationals as part of the Ashes Series, so lots of opportunities to see the Australian Cricket Team in action.

You’ll find the MILO Kid Zone at every Commonwealth Bank Test Match in The Outfield. The MILO Kid Zone will include cricket nets where you can have a bat or a bowl and learn cricket skills with trained Cricket Development Officers. There’s also the MILO drinks break stand where you can enjoy well deserved cold MILO and MILO photo stand to get your very own photo next to our Clarkey cutout.

This family-friendly seating area provides a dry or low alcohol area for families to join in the excitement.
